For sale here is an 8'6" 2/2 5wt hollow built quad bamboo rod from the bench of Bob Clay at Riverwatch rods. Excellent+ condition, serial #16420. Medium flamed cane with green wraps and green agate stripping guide. Composite ferrules fit perfectly, and all sections are straight and full length. Hand rubbed matte finish looks beautiful, and it's hard to tell if the rod was ever used. 6.5" grip is smooth and bright, and the rod is fitted with a cap & ring reel seat over dark wood spacer. The dark nickel reel seat hardware retains the maker's logo on the pocketed cap. Weight is 3.63oz. Action on the faster side of medium fast, I like it with a WF5. Responsive & lively, and rather light in the hand for an 8'6" rod. Sold in the original corduroy bag and powder coated Riverwatch tube.
