For sale here is a pre-fire Leonard model 66H, 8' 2-piece / 2-tip bamboo rod in very good original condition. Light colored cane with oxidized guides wrapped in crimson windings with olive/black accents. Perfection stripping guide and strap & ring hook keeper. Nickel silver winding check, 5.5" cigar grip with down-locking aluminum reel seat over butternut spacer and nickel silver butt cap with the H.L. Leonard roll stamp. 13/64 ferrules fit perfectly. 4 3/8oz stated and actual weight. A few wraps show some degree of drying, though nothing that requires immediate attention. The cork grip looks like it may have been cleaned at some point and has minor ridging. A very nice pre-fire 66H, perfect for a 5 or 6wt. Sold in original tan bag with hang tag & stiffener dowel, and brass capped tube.
