For sale here is a Sharpe's "Scottie" featherweight, 7'6" 2/1 5wt impregnated bamboo rod in excellent original condition. Medium toned impregnated cane with bright circle guides and dark burgundy wraps. Bronze ferrules fit perfectly, and the sections are straight & full length. Cork grip & reel seat are smooth with light soiling, and the rod is fitted with a bright aluminum cap & ring reel seat. The writing & decals on the butt section are nearly perfect, and the butt cap retains a stamped serial number at the base, along with "J.S. Sharpe LTD - Aberdeen", along with a name & number that appears to be added later. Weight is 3.75oz. Excellent original condition, a nice dry fly rod with progressive action on the faster side of medium fast. The female ferrule is fitted with a ferrule plug, and the rod packs into the original cotton twill bag.
