Bogdan - Model 1 Salmon Reel

For sale here is a Bogdan No. 1 fly reel in RHW. Good used condition, mechanically faultless with some cosmetic considerations. Light champagne anodized frame with black side plates. The back plate has worn to a dull gray/blue color, with some areas appearing to have received a half-hearted attempt at polishing. Rim rash in the usual spots and the finish is worn on the drag adjuster. Counterbalanced handle, solid plates and 1.9:1 multiplying gear. A previous owner's name is engraved on the bright aluminum foot, and there are faint (but smooth) file marks on either end. 3 3/4" diameter with a spool width of 1 3/16". Capacity for a WF10+150, the Model 1 is a nice "all-around" size for a variety of spey rods. Weight is 14.50oz loaded with backing and running line. If you're looking for a user Bogdan that you can take on the water and not worry about keeping it pristine, this could be the one!
