Hardy - St. George 3 3/4" Fly Reel

For sale here is a Hardy St George 3 3/4" fly reel in very good original condition. A RHW, leaded reel with 3-screw spool latch cover and straight line lettering. Early post-WWII vintage. Evenly worn leading to a dull gray, ribbed brass foot and freely spinning ebonite handle. Agate like guard has a few stable hairline cracks. Rim mounted tensioner works as intended. Weight is 7.75oz. Standard arbor, this is a nice size for a heavyweight single-handed rod, up to about an 8 or even a 9wt. Mechanically perfect with normal signs of use. Sold in the original blue and cream card box.
