Leonard, H.L. - Model 41, 8'6" 2/2 7wt Bamboo Rod

For sale here is an H.L. Leonard Model 41, 8'6" 2/2 7wt bamboo rod in very good used condition. This is a post-fire rod with medium tempered cane, red wraps & hunter green accents. Dark snake guides with carbide stripper. Bright ferrules fit perfectly, and all sections are full length, straight & serialized (#2414). Cork grip is smooth with light soiling, and the rod is fitted with a down-locking reel seat over light wood spacer. The knurling on the screw collar has some unfortunate tool marks, but these are purely cosmetic. Scripted weight is 4 7/8oz, but my scale reads 4 1/2. Medium action, the rod flexes well into the butt and I think most will prefer it with a WF6 rather than a 7. Sold in the original yellow bag with stiffener and brass capped aluminum tube with intact data label.
