For sale here is an Orvis Battenkill Flyweight fly reel in excellent used condition. Made in England by J.W. Young. 2 3/4" diameter, spool width is 9/16" and the catalog weight is 3 5/16oz (actual weight is 4.34oz loaded with line and backing). Currently set up RHW, the line guard is reversible, and the retrieve can be swapped by flipping the pawl, but in reality the reel works best RHW and the check is fixed. A nice 3 or 4wt reel, a perfect pairing for your vintage Orvis rod. Sold in the original square vinyl case with Orvis logo in gold.
