For sale here is an Orvis Deluxe 7'6" 2/2 6wt impregnated bamboo rod. Very good used condition, one tip appears to be a replacement. The cane work is very good, and it is a close match, there is a high probability the replacement tip came from Orvis. Medium toned cane with oxidized guides wrapped in transparent caramel windings. The wraps on the 2nd tip are slightly off in a few spots. Blued 12/64 ferrules fit perfectly. All sections are full length & serialized (#28256), and the 2nd tip has a slight set. Superfine grip & reel seat with dual slide bands. The cork shows minor soiling and light ridging. Scripted weight is 2 7/8oz but my scale reads just under 3 1/4oz. Action on the medium side of medium fast, rated for a DT6 but most will prefer it with a DT5. Made in 1960. Sold in the original green bag and gold tube with blue & white data label.
