Pflueger - Golden West 80 Fly Reel

For sale here is an 80-yard Pflueger Golden West fly reel in very good used condition. Made with an aluminum spool, brass spindle and counterbalanced handle. Side plates are made of layered hard rubber and aluminum. On-off clicker works as intended, and the reel has slight LHW bias with a crisp check. Mechanically flawless, the reel shows signs of honest use. The only real condition consideration is a stable looking crack in the outer layer of the back plate, just above the serial number (#6756). The Pflueger bulldog decal remains in excellent shape with just a hint of "striping" across the bulldog's eyes. A wonderful American-made reel to pair with your favorite 4/5wt cane rod.
