For sale here is an E.C. Powell 9'3" 3/2 7wt solid-built bamboo rod. A rare "Buddy" Powell with solid black tipping on all the guide wraps. The rod appears all original except for a few re-wrapped guides/ferrules. Ferrules fit perfectly and the sections are full length. Light sets in both tips. One tip has a small chip at the corner of two flats, and the mid has a hairline crack in one of the strips, between the 2nd and 3rd guide. Grip is heavily soiled but smooth, and the rod is fitted with a Powell down-locking reel seat over Bakelite spacer. Weight is 5.68oz, and the rod is sold in the original bag (with owners name inked), and replacement aluminum tube.
