For sale here is a Jim Reams hollow built 8'3" 2-piece / 2-tip 4wt bamboo rod in excellent used condition. Medium toned cane with 2-opposed node spacing and oxidized guides wrapped in transparent toffee windings with dark brown tipping. All sections are full length, straight and serialized (#142). Truncated Swiss-style ferrules fit perfectly. 6.2" grip is smooth and clean. Blued slide band reel seat over mortised burl spacer. Two small spots of bluing loss, one to the butt cap and one on the female ferrule. Weight is 3.85oz. Light in the hand and responsive. Fine dry fly tips, a delight to cast with a DT4. Sold in the original bag and tube with Reams' data label affixed.
