For sale here is an early Sage Graphite II, LL 389, 8'9" 2-piece 3wt graphite rod in excellent used condition. Deep burgundy blank with bright guides. Strap and ring hook keeper, metal winding check, and the 6.5" grip is clean and smooth. Up-locking nickel silver reel seat over fine wood spacer. The 389 was a landmark taper for Sage and it remains one of the finest longer length 3wts ever made. Sold in the original bag and aftermarket rod tube.
