For sale here is an 8' 3pc 4wt graphite rod from Tom Morgan Rodsmiths in very good used condition. Serial #10-4-03, made in 2010 when Tom and Gerri were still at the helm of TMR. The rod features a deep burgundy blank with bright guides and agate stripper, all wrapped in burgundy windings with gold accents. Nickel silver checks, 6" western grip (smooth & soiled) and cap & ring reel seat over burl spacer. The butt cap bears the TMR logo, and the gold script remains bright and bold on all sections. The blank is in excellent shape, and the graying/soiling on the grip is exacerbated by the suede dye used on the inside of the rod bag (almost all TMR rods from this era suffer from bag discoloration). A beautiful 4wt and a great all-around trout taper. Sold in the original satin & suede rod bag and hexagonal burgundy heirloom tube featuring custom made fixtures and knurled cap with sterling silver TMR insert. The tube comes in a black quilted protector with drawstring closure.
