For sale here is a spectacular Winston 75th anniversary bamboo rod in mint condition. Made in 2004 during Glenn Brackett's tenure at Winston. A highly desirable 7'9" 3/2 4-5wt configuration, the rod features medium toned cane, hollow fluted construction, overwrapped ferrules, and fine agate stripping guide. All sections are straight, full length & serialized (#3838), and this is #21 out of 75 anniversary rods produced. The cork grip is perfect, and the protective plastic wrap is intact. Down-locking nickel silver reel seat over fine wood spacer, and the butt cap is etched with a special 75th anniversary logo. The rod packs into a custom embroidered bag and regal Arne Mason leather clad brass tube with gilded anniversary logo on the cap. A rare offering, these anniversary rods seldom change hands.
