For sale here is a Cris Carpenter 8' 2/2 4wt hex, hollow built bamboo rod. Lawn cast only, this rod was used at a casting event by the maker and remains in near-new condition. Medium flamed cane, 3x3 nodes, oxidized guides and banded agate stripper. Wraps are pale olive with dark accents. All sections are straight & full length, and the blued ferrules fit perfectly. Signed & serialized above the windings check (#725). 6.5" grip is smooth and bright, and the rod is fitted with a bright slide band reel seat over mortised spacer. Weight is 3.70oz. Medium fast action, a crisp and responsive rod with quick recovery. If you're looking for a "do it all" trout rod, this is it. Perfect with a DT4.
