For sale here is a special Everett Garrison 206e, 7'6" 2/2 bamboo rod. Serial K-76-2, made in 1967. Superb, original condition. Medium toned cane, transparent wraps & chocolate brown at the ferrules and at the top of the grip. Bright Super-Z ferrules fit perfectly. The varnish is virtually perfect, and all sections are full length, straight & serialized. All script remains bold & clear, and the tips are wrapped green/red for ease of rotation. The all-cork grip & reel seat remains smooth and bright, and the rod is fitted with Everett Garrison's standard knurled slide band reel seat with pocketed butt cap. The inside of the guides shows no signs of wear. I know the rod has been lawn casted, but it would be difficult to convince me it was ever fished. Weight is 3.53oz. Medium fast action, it feels like it would be comfortable with a 4 or 5wt line. Sold in the original bag with tethered ferrule plug, and original tube with brass collar & aluminum cap. The tube packs into a canvas protector. Original Garrison rods of this caliber almost never hit the market. If you're interested in this one, please reach out immediately.
