Orvis - Midge 7'6" 2/2 5wt Impregnated Bamboo Rod

For sale here is an Orvis Midge, 7'6" 2-piece / 2-tip 5wt bamboo rod. Serial #43454, made in 1964. Impregnated cane with bright guides wrapped in chestnut brown windings. 11/64 ferrules fit perfectly, and all sections are full length & serialized. Both tips have fish fighting sets, and the hook keeper has been rewrapped. Classic Orvis 'Superfine' grip is smooth with light soiling, and the reel seat has slight indentations from the dual slide bands. Weight is 3oz. Rated as a 5wt, I think it will probably cast a 4 or 5wt line comfortably. Sold in the original bag and tube with 80% label.
