Tom Morgan Rodsmiths / Per Brandin - 8'3" 2pc 6wt Fiberglass Rod

For sale here is a Tom Morgan Rodsmiths 8'3" fiberglass 6wt "Special Streamer", built by Per Brandin. Excellent+ condition, featuring bright snake guides and red agate stripping guide, wrapped in burgundy windings. The rod is fitted with a NS tip check, solid white fiberglass ferrule stock and there is a small gap in the spigot ferrule to allow for wear. The all cork "skeleton" grip and reel seat is clean and smooth, and featured Brandin's aluminum reel seat hardware. This rod has an unusual feature: two tip-stiffening segments attached to a string. These sections can be lowered into the tip section to give it a slightly stiffer action. Action-altering "sleeves" of this nature were pioneered by Harry Wilson in the early days of the Scott Fly Rod Co., and the removable "sleeve on a string" method employed here allows the user to easily fish it either way.
