For sale here is a Mario Wojnicki model 235P5, 7'8", 3-pc 5wt fiberglass rod in excellent+ condition. Serial #8911. Built on an un-sanded yellow glass blank with dark guides wrapped in transparent windings. Sections are serialized and witness marked, and the spigot ferrules fit snugly with gaps to allow for wear. 6.5" grip is smooth and clean, and the rod is fitted with dual slide band reel seat over mortised wood spacers. Micarta cork check and butt cap. Medium fast, semi-parabolic action, a precision caster with a DT5. From the maker's personal collection, this rod appears to have been lawn cast only. Sold in the original fold over bag and brass capped tube with Mario's roll stamp on the collar.
