Emery, John - 3 3/4" Fly Reel

For sale here is a 3 3/4" saltwater fly reel made by John Emery. Excellent used condition, serial #0024, RHW. Black anodized with ported spool, palmable rim and adjustable cork drag. Silent outgoing with a light click incoming. The reel is mechanically perfect with a few nicks/scratches to the finish. The foot was replaced in 2019 by Bill Archuleta, and the original foot is included with the sale. Weight is 15.31oz loaded with backing. Interior spool width is 1 1/8", I think it would handle a 9/10wt nicely. Emery was a well-known flats guide in the Florida Keys and a few of these reels were made in the 1980's. This would be the smaller "Bonefish" size. Sold in a black neoprene pouch.
