Hardy - The Lightweight Fly Reel (Solid Spool)

For sale here is a Hardy Lightweight fly reel in excellent+/near mint condition. Solid spool, two screw latch, dual pawls for LHW or RHW fishing, and full-length smooth alloy reel foot. The dark gray enamel finish of the frame and the lighter gray spool finish are virtually perfect. 3 1/4" diameter with a spool width of 0.66". A nice size for a 4 or 5wt. Production of "The Lightweight" reels had ended by the mid 1960's, they aren't commonly seen and are rather rare in this condition. Sold in a shearling lined suede zippered case.
