Sage / Hardy - Model 505 Fly Reel w/ Spare Spool

For sale here is a Sage Model 505 fly reel with spare spool in excellent+ condition. Made in England by Hardy and closely modeled after Hardy's JLH series, Sage commissioned a run of these reels in the 1990's. Bronze anodized finish with solid frame, ported spool and alloy foot. Rim mounted tensioner works as intended, and the nickel silver line guard can be swapped to fish LHW or RHW (currently set RHW). The foot shows light mounting marks, and the rim has a few very small nicks. The spare spool appears unused. These reels have become quite desirable, and they pair well with both classic and modern rods. 3 3/16" diameter frame with a weight of 4.72oz. Capacity is for a DT5 + 50yds. The reel packs into a shearling lined suede zipper case and the spool comes in a black neoprene pouch
