J.W. Young / Alex Martin - 'The Club' 3 1/8" Fly Reel

For sale here is an Alex Martin "The Club", 3 1/8" fly reel made by J.W. Young. This is a pattern 14A fly reel with narrow drum, leaded finish and chrome plated circular line guard. RHW only. Smooth brass foot is full length, and the tensioner works as intended. The leaded finish is in good condition with even wear throughout. The frame has a slight bend at the 7 o'clock position. This does not interfere with rotation of the spool and appears to be purely cosmetic. A fine English reel, best with a 4wt (or possibly 5wt) line.
