French, Paul - 7'6" 2/2 4-5wt Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a 7'6" 2/2 4-5wt bamboo rod by Paul French in excellent used condition. Featuring darkly flamed cane with dark snake guides and red agate stripper, wrapped in copper bronze windings with black tipping. All sections are straight and full length, ferrules fit perfectly and the female is fitted with a bone ferrule plug. 5.5" cigar grip is clean and smooth. Cap and ring reel seat over fine burl spacer, the reel seat hardware was engraved by master engraver Paulo Barbetti and the butt cap reads "P. French - Maker - No. 7 - 1992". Paul French was a student of Darryl Whiteheads and produced a limited number of rods in the 1990's. They are truly works of art and they aren't often seen on the resale market. Sold in the original bag and brass capped tube.
