For sale here is an early model CFO III fly reel made for Orvis by Hardy. Stan Bogdan created the original prototype for this reel and they were first offered for sale in the 1971 Orvis catalog. This reel has signs of honest use but is mechanically perfect. RHW or LHW, this early 70's reel features three holes in the reel foot, no line guard and the desirable "screwback" design. One of the best click and pawl reels ever produced, this one is ready to get back on the water!
