For sale here is a Peerless No. 1A fly reel in excellent used condition. 1 5/32" wide with a diameter of 2 3/4". Best for 1-4wt fishing. The 1A features ported face plate and spool with counterbalanced serpentine handle and adjustable drag. Set up for RHW but can be converted. This is the scarce "all-black" version of the 1A, and the anodizing remains in excellent shape throughout. Minor mounting marks to the aluminum foot are the only evidence of use I see. Peerless reels remain very popular and pair well with both classic and contemporary rods. Sold in the original shearling lined leather pouch.
