Pflueger - Progress 60 Skeleton Fly Reel

For sale here is a Pflueger Progress 60 skeleton fly reel in near mint condition. Gun metal brass frame with nickel plated spool. Counterbalanced spool with free-spinning black handle grasp and bird cage arbor. On/off clicker works as intended and the action of the reel is very smooth with neutral bias (LHW or RHW). Stamped "60" on the top of the foot and the bull dog trademark on the underside remains very clean and crisp. The gun metal finish is intact with no "brassing" commonly seen on these reels. I'm not sure the reel was ever mounted on a rod. The date stamp on the box indicates it was made in January of 1936. Sold in the original box with guarantee card. A fine example to collect or fish.
