For sale here is a Phillipson Peerless "5", impregnated 8' 3/2 5wt bamboo rod in excellent used condition. Medium tempered cane with resorcinol glue lines and 3x3 node spacing. Bright guides wrapped in golden brown windings with yellow gold spiral accents. The sections are full length and free of repairs, and one tip has a slight fish fighting set. Ferrules fit perfectly. U-shaped hook keeper, tapered aluminum winding check & 6" tapered grip over bronzed aluminum down-locking reel seat. Scripted weight is 4 1/4oz but my scale reads just a hair over 4oz. Medium fast action, a versatile taper that will cast a variety of 5wt lines. Sold in the original bag and tube with gold/black Phillipson decal.
