For sale here is an early Scott 8'6" 2-piece fiberglass rod for a 7wt line. Model F-86, this was made by Larry Kenney as a gift for his father and has no serial number. Excellent used condition with a few scuffs/scratches from honest use. Made in the mid/late 1970s, the rod features an un-sanded yellow glass blank, bright guides wrapped in gold thread, and spigot ferrules with black witness marks. The ferrule fit is good and there is ~1/8" gap to allow for wear. 7" western style cork grip with varnished cork winding check. Gold anodized up-locking reel seat features a unique secondary locking nut recessed into the varnished cork fighting butt. Wonderful medium fast action, the rod casts a WF7 or DT7 very well. Sold in original cloth bag and aluminum tube with gold Scott decal.
