For sale here is a 7'3" 2-piece / 2-tip, 4/5wt bamboo rod made by Per Brandin and based on the Garrison 204e taper. A unique Brandin rod, built from a culm of Garrison's original stock of cane, acquired by Hoagy Carmichael and Peter Phelps. A solid built hex featuring blonde cane, lightly oxidized guides and low-bridge red agate stripping guide. Transparent windings with dark chocolate accents. All sections are straight, full length & serialized, and the tip tops are wrapped for ease of rotation. Bright 13/64 ferrules fit perfectly. 5.5" cork grip is lightly soiled but smooth. Up-locking slide band reel seat over white cedar spacer and micarta butt cap. Medium-fast progressive action, a true 4/5wt.
