Carpenter, W.E. - Highlander 7'3" 2/2 4wt Impregnated Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a Walt Carpenter 7'3" 2/2 4wt "Highlander", impregnated bamboo rod in excellent condition. Medium tempered cane with dark guides wrapped in tan winding & dark accents. Blued ferrules fit perfectly, and all sections are serialized (#1056). The sections are full length and free of repairs, and both tips have slight sets in the top 12". The tips are marked for ease of rotation, and the "1-dot" tip is missing its moisture plug. Strap & ring hook keeper, 6" cork grip (smooth with just a hint of soiling), and blued cap & ring reel seat over mortised mahogany spacer. Medium fast, dry fly action, perfect with a DT4. Weight is 3.27oz. Sold in the original bag & tube with the maker's business card affixed.
