Hardy - Perfect 2 7/8" Fly Reel - War-time Black Finish

For sale here is a 2 7/8" Hardy Perfect fly reel. This appears to be an original WWII era reel with black painted finish, although everything except the reel foot has been repainted. RHW, black finish, ribbed brass foot and rim mounted tensioner. Mechanically tight with a strong check. The refinished paint has gone soft in a few places, especially around the porting and inside the spool. The next owner will probably want to strip at least the spool and repaint it before fishing. Stamped internally J.S. (Jimmy Smith). Sold in a replacement neoprene pouch.
