For sale here is a RHW Hardy Perfect, 3 3/8" fly reel in very good original condition. ~1920's vintage with full length smooth brass foot, roped tensioner and ebonite handle grasp. The leaded finish is mostly worn to a smooth gray patina. Smokey agate line guard is blemish free. Mechanically tight and the only cosmetic consideration is some light surface rash on the spool side of the frame near the foot. This could be old corrosion or a casting error, or some combination thereof. The tensioner works as intended with a strong click throughout its range. Weight is 7.23oz. A wonderful pre-WWII 3 3/8" Perfect, sold in an aftermarket Orvis pouch.
