For sale here is a Horton Meek No. 55 fly reel in excellent used condition. 3 1/8" diameter with a spool width of 3/4". The dark leaded finish is intact, along with the original lacquer. Smooth reel foot is unaltered. Mechanically tight with just a bit of end play (almost ubiquitous on Horton Meek fly reels). Crisp RHW fixed check with dual engageable pawls. A nice model 55, loaded with a 5wt line and packed in a suede zipper case.
