For sale here is a 7' 2pc Orvis impregnated bamboo spinning rod in very good original condition. Serial #3023, made in 1946. Dark cane with bright guides wrapped in brown winding. The cane is excellent shape but some of the wraps have faint bag imprints. Nickel silver ferrules fit perfectly, and the sections are straight and full length. The butt is scripted "Orvis Impregnated - Pat. Pending". Cork grip is clean and mostly smooth with an imprint from a reel foot neat the butt cap. Sold in the original bag and a brass capped tube.
