For sale here is an Orvis Light Salmon 8'6" 3/2 7wt impregnated bamboo rod in excellent+/near mint condition. Medium toned cane with dark guides wrapped in transparent chestnut windings. 11/64 & 17/64 ferrules fit perfectly, and the bluing remains near perfect. All sections are straight, full length & serialized (#33849). 6.5" grip is smooth and bright, and the bright aluminum reel seat has a few faint mounting marks. The knurled butt cap removes to accept a 4.5" cork fighting butt. The rod looks essentially unused, but the fighting butt has several impressions from being stored too tightly in the tube. Scripted weight is 5 1/4oz but my scale reads closer to 5 7/8oz (6.5oz with the fighting butt). Rated for a DT7 but I strongly suspect it will prefer a line size down. A wonderfully preserved Orvis Light Salmon rod, sold in the original bag and tube with data label affixed.
