Sold Out $1.00
For sale here is a scarce Paul Young Driggs model bamboo rod. 7'2" 2-piece / 2-tips, excellent original condition. Made in 1974 by Bob Summers for Malcolm "Mac" Seaholm (serial #4622). Dark flamed cane with rubbed oil finish. Dark snake guides with carbide stripping guide, wrapped in dark brown windings. All sections are straight, full length and serialized, and 13/64 ferrules fit perfectly. 2 7/8oz scripted weight, though my scale reads slightly less (2.6oz). Bent loop hook keeper over ventilated cork grip and solid cork reel seat with dual slide bands. The grip is smooth with light soiling and thumb relief in the top 3 rings. A lively 4wt with medium fast parabolic action that flexes into the ventilated grip. A beautiful Summers-era example of an extremely desirable taper. Sold in an original brown satin bag (hole in the butt compartment) and Champion tube.
