Sands, Todd - 4" Spey Reel - RHW

For sale here is a 4" spey reel from the bench of Todd Sands. Excellent+/near mint condition. The reel foot has faint mounting marks and the spool is loaded with backing and running line, but it's hard to tell if the reel was ever fished. RHW. 4" diameter and the pillar width is 1.5". A perfect size to balance larger 2-handed rods. All aluminum construction with nickel plated brass pillars and black Delrin handle grasp. 2:1 multiplier ration with easy drag adjustment knob. Tremendous drag range and incoming/outgoing clicker. "W Sands" is stamped next to the reel foot on the top of the reel, and the serial number is stamped on the underside (#011). Weight is 17.71oz (including the backing and running line). A beautiful reel from Todd Sands, the protege of the late Dr. Paul Hermann.
