For sale here is a Saracione 2 ½” Deluxe Trout fly reel. An early example of the 2 ½” “Special Midge", serial #278. Stainless steel construction with Delrin side plates and aluminum foot. The reel is in excellent condition mechanically and cosmetically. Smooth LHW check, and tight as a drum. 2.5" diameter with a pillar width of 1", weight is 3.75oz. A classically styled reel, perfect for a light line cane rod. Sold in the original Arne Mason leather case.
