Schroeder, D.G. - 7'3" 2/2, 4-5wt Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a Don Schroeder 7'3" 2-piece / 2-tip, 4-5wt bamboo rod in excellent original condition. Medium flamed cane with bright wrapped in transparent brown windings with darker accents. All sections are straight, full length and serialized (#6991). Blued Swiss-style ferrules fit perfectly. Gently swelled butt leads into a 6" cork grip (smooth with light soiling). Bright aluminum reel seat over dark walnut spacer. The reel seat collar retains the maker’s stamp. Weight is 4.06oz. A nimble, progressive action rod, it casts nicely with both 4 and 5wt lines. Don is a master of the craft with many decades of experience. Sold in the original bag with stiffener and brass capped tube.
