Shenandoah Rods (Chris Bogart) - Shenandoah Spey 12' 3/2, 6-7wt Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a 'Shenandoah Spey' 12' 3-piece / 2-tip bamboo spey rod from Chris Bogart. Excellent+, lightly used condition. Medium tempered cane with bright guides wrapped in blood red windings. Tip-over-butt bamboo ferrules fit snugly. The female ferrules are fitted with bamboo ferrule plugs, but they don't fit very well in the tube (they will come tethered to the bag). The sections are full length and serialized (#2011-3). All are straight with the exception of a small set in the top 8" of one of the tips. This looks like it could be easily straightened by an experienced hand. Cork fore and aft grip with NS up-locking reel seat over dark wood spacer. The cork is smooth and clean. Rated for 6/7wt lines, this rod was designed for steelhead, shad, bass, and everything inbetween. I suspect it would be a fine rod for light salmon/grilse fishing also. Tips are marked wet & dry. Nice workmanship, the rod is in excellent condition and ready to hit the water. Sold in the original bag and tube.
