For sale here is a Mark Spittler 7'6" 2/2 4wt bamboo rod in very good used condition. Quadrate construction, darkly flamed and hollow fluted. Snake guides and red agate stripping guide wrapped in crimson silks with dark tipping. 12/64 ferrules fit perfectly, and the sections are straight, full length & serialized (#390). The one condition note I have is a small ding on one tip below the 3rd snake guide down from the tip top. The ding is about 1/8" long and is not associated with a node. I think it would benefit from a clear wrap before fishing this tip, but that will be a decision for the next owner. Strap & ring hook keeper, squared composite winding check, and 6" cork grip (lightly & smooth. Slide band reel seat over cork spacer with dark wood insert at the base. Weight is 3.46oz. Action on the medium side of medium fast, a nimble rod with fine tips. Best with a DT4. Sold in the original bag and tube.
