For sale here is a Tom Morgan Rodsmiths 8'6" 2-pc 3wt graphite rod in excellent+ condition. An early TMR rod, made on a Loomis blank and built for Per Brandin. Golden script on the butt section reads "Made for Per by Tom & Gerri". Serial #95-3-15. Built on a maroon sanded blank with bright guides and red agate stripping guide, wrapped in dark red windings with gold accents and a nickel silver tip check. 6.5" cork grip is clean and smooth. Bright nickel silver reel seat with knurled slide band and dark burl spacer. Medium fast, progressive action. Fished once by Per then put away. The rod is packaged in the original bag and hexagonal burgundy heirloom tube with heavy felted tube protector. Everything packs into the original 2-piece fiber shipping tube with foam/felt disc protecting the silver logoed insert on the tube cap. A nice 3wt rod with historical provenance from 3 legendary rod makers: Gary Loomis, Tom Morgan and Per Brandin. From the collection of Per G. Brandin.
