For sale here is a 9' 4-pc 7wt graphite rod from Tom Morgan Rodsmiths. Mint condition, I see no signs the rod was even lawn cast. The 7wt graphite streamer was one of the last rods designed by Tom. Progressive action, made for throwing everything from double dries to heavy streamers, even in a strong headwind. The quintessential big water boat rod. Built on a sanded maroon blank with bright guides and red agate stripper, wrapped in dark burgundy threads with gold accents. All sections are serialized (20-7-04. The original owner's name is inked on the butt section. 6.25" full wells grip is clean and smooth, and the rod is fitted with an up-locking NS reel seat over light burl spacer. 1" fixed fighting butt with TMR insert at the base. The cork on the fighting butt is just a shade darker than the grip. The rod packs into the original cloth bag and heirloom tube with quilted tube protector.
