For sale here is an A.L. Walker T/R4 reel in very good used condition. Featuring aluminum frame and spool with rolling pillar, black side plates and S-handle with nickel silver counterbalance. Smooth RHW operation with 6-position adjustable check. The reel shows light signs of use throughout but remains mechanically tight. 3 1/4" diameter with a spool width of 15/16". Weight is 6.46oz. The T/R 4 size is the largest of the Walker trout reels, designed for 5/6wt fishing but it will handle most 7wt lines as well. This reel comes from the personal collection of rodmaking legend Glenn Brackett, and packs into a gorgeous personalized Vom Hofe-style case made by Ross Winkler at RW Leather Works.
