Wojnicki, Mario - 8'9" 9ST, 2-pc 9wt Fiberglass Rod

For sale here is an 8'9" 2-piece 9wt fiberglass rod from the bench of Mario Wojnicki. Built on an unsanded Scott yellow glass blank, the overall length is closer to 8'8". Excellent used condition, the rod features bright snake guides and carbide stripping guide Wraps are transparent yellow, and both sections are witness marked and serialized (#1126-20). Spigot ferrules fit perfectly with a gap to allow for wear. 7" cork grip is smooth and shows very little signs of wear, although there is a slight discoloration in a spray pattern on one side of the cork. Black up-locking reel seat with Micarta butt cap. A strong 9wt, you can feel the semi-parabolic action flex well into the butt section. A purpose-built saltwater rod, from Mario's personal collection. Sold in the original fold over bag with stiffener and custom aluminum tube.
