For sale here is a 9' 2-piece 9/10wt fiberglass rod from Mario Wojnicki. Built on an unsanded brown blank with bright snake guides and Fuji stripping guides, wrapped in yellow windings. Spigot ferrules are witness marked, and there is a 3/16" gap to allow for wear. Both sections are serialized (#1126), and the white script remains clean and clear. 7" grip is smooth and soiled, and the rod is fitted with an anodized reel seat & fixed fighting butt. Weight is 5.27oz. Designed for 300gr shooting heads, the action feels semi-parabolic. This is one of Mario's personal rods, mostly used to target striped bass in the waters around the San Francisco Bay. Sold in Mario's signature fold-over bag w/ stiffener and a generic PVC tube.
