For sale here is a 6'6" 2/2 3wt hex rod from the bench of Rob Hoffhines. This is a new rod from the maker with the plastic on the grip (#624). Hollow fluted, 6-strip construction, featuring blonde cane with 2-opposed nodes and transparent brown windings. All sections are straight & full length, and the tips are marked for ease of rotation. Blued ferrules fit perfectly. 6" cork grip, nickel silver checks and bright cap & ring reel seat over mortised wood spacer. Weight is 2.65oz. Action on the medium side of medium fast. A nice light line, progressive taper. Sold in the original bag and brushed aluminum tube with maker's decal affixed.
