Orvis - Battenkill 7'6" 2/2 7wt Impregnated Bamboo Rod

For sale here is an Orvis Battenkill 7'6" 2-piece / 2-tip 7wt bamboo rod in very good used condition. Serial #51519, made in 1968. The rod features dark impregnated cane with oxidized snake guides wrapped in transparent caramel windings. Blued ferrules fit perfectly, and all sections are straight, full length & serialized. U-shaped hook keeper, 6" cigar grip and down-locking aluminum reel seat over wood spacer. Slightly ridging and soiling to the cork. Each rod section has a few scratches from honest use, but nothing that requires attention. Scripted weight is 4oz although my scale reads 4 1/8oz. Rated as a 7wt but most will prefer it with a 6wt. Sold in the original bag & tube with blue & silver foil label.
