Orvis - Battenkill 9' 3/2 7wt Impregnated Bamboo Rod

For sale here is an Orvis impregnated Battenkill 9' 3/2 6wt bamboo rod in very good used condition. Dark caramel toned cane with blued guides wrapped in chestnut brown windings. All sections are straight, full length and serialized (#21259), and the ferrules fit perfectly. The cane has some light surface scratches, and the script on the butt section is partially rubbed out. Nickel silver winding check over 7" grip and aluminum down-locking reel seat. The cork is mostly clean with some light ridging. The butt cap can be swapped out for a 2.25" cork fighting butt (also included). Stated weight is 6oz, but my scale is closer to 6 1/8oz. Medium, full flexing action. Like so many Orvis rods of this vintage, this one feels more comfortable with one line lighter than the stated rating (I like it with a DT or long belly WF6). Sold in the original bag and tube with partial green & white label.
